Dr. Rusher is a native of Northwest Ohio. He attended The Ohio State University where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry. He completed his podiatric degree at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, graduating at the top of his class as President of the Pi Delta National Podiatry Honor Society. Dr. Rusher went on to complete his surgical residency at Community Health Network in Indianapolis, Indiana where he was privileged to work with some of the region’s most talented surgeons.

Looking to perfect his craft, he pursued advanced surgical training at the Innovative Foot & Ankle Surgical Fellowship at Alexander Orthopaedic Associates in St. Petersburg, Florida. During his fellowship, Dr. Rusher trained in cutting-edge modalities including patient specific implants.

Dr. Rusher is a husband and father of five children. He is actively involved in his parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fremont and is passionate about faith, family and health.
